Hello,I am a PR, i recently came back to India to get married and now gettting started with the process of applying for my spouse's file for visa. Can someone please confirm the amount I need to show as a sponsor(is it 16k cad?) and the amount my spouse needs to show as a primary applicant towards this?
I had been working in Canada for an year, and thought that showing how much I was earning over that 1 year would suffice. Iam unclear if I need to show further funds like around 16k in order to be able to sponsor my spouse.

Zubair Arshad: In spousal visa i dont think you need POF if the primary applicant is doing a Job just they attached T4 wih salry slip etc
Mandeep Singh: No POF mandatory requirement for Spousal sponsorship though you need to show that you can support his/her stay in Canada. So just use bank account statements, it will be just fine.
