Spousal visa rejection for 1 time (March-2021)
got ITA on 13th February 2021 (CEC inland)
question is: to submit documents for wife only marriage certificate is enough ? or does he need to submit additional documents like chat history, wedding photos etc ?

Srikanth Bhogi: Hi Darshil. I am writing this out of experience. In addition to the marriage certificate I strongly advise you to submit a montage of photos of your wedding along with your relatives. A mere marriage certificate is just not sufficient as a lot of applicants are apparently misusing spousal visa's with fake weddings. Even a signle photo such as exchanging garlands etc might also be not sufficient in some cases as I had seen this happen to a friend when I was working in Canada. My wife;s spousal visa was also rejected as we havent submitted any photos despite having lot of them even before wedding. I now moved back to India beacuse of it.
So photos of cultural wedidng with relatives, travel photos, tickets etc before and after wedding, any chat history screenshots if available. (Just general conversations .Need not be intimate ones. ;) ). Adding all these makes you application stronger. Goodluck.
