I need help and guidance.
I have received ITA in July 2023 and the EE application was submitted along with my spouse as dependent. However, my husband a few months after received a job offer in QUÉBEC.
Meanwhile, I have submitted my application with him as non-accompanying and informed IRCC of his intention to apply for closed-work permit in Québec.
I have received AOR in September 2023 while he submitted his closed work permit application in October 2023.
I did a few searches on google that I can include him in my PR application despite he has applied for work permit in Quebec and thereafter raised a webform to include him in December.
Yesterday we were informed by his lawyer that his work permit application might be rejected and we can be banned from entering Canada. Is it true?
Also, in my status tracker everything is completed apart from background information which is still in progress for both of us.

Haider Kiani: I'm afraid your lawyer might be correct. When you apply for PR, IRCC explicitly asks you if you intend to stay in Quebec, and "wants" you to say no because Quebec has their own immigration laws and policies. So if your husband got a job offer, that means you and your husband will stay in Quebec, therefore making your PR economically useless to them.
